Quarterly Construction Update October 2018

Alliance Project Group has been appointed as the Builder for Stellar.

In recent months, excavation and installing the retaining walls have been the focus. The basement is now taking shape, as are the footings, columns and services for the basement levels.

The suspended slab and the other basement levels are expected to be constructed in the coming months.

CWG and Alliance Project Group have been working with authorities to improve the area surrounding the site including landscaped areas and artwork, so as to enhance the environment for Stellar’s residents and visitors.

More updates are expected to be available in January 2019.

Quarterly Construction Update July 2018

Over the last few months, CWG Development has been working with its consultants and builder towards finalising the design and reports for the first construction certificate. This was received at the end of June 2018 and the builder has now commenced onsite.

Prominent Australian artiste Jade Oakley has been engaged to create artwork for Stellar. CWG along with Jade Oakley,, Alliance Project Group and Ryde City Council will be working closely to procure artwork for when construction is complete.

Currently, hoarding and temporary fencing have been installed ready for the excavation of the basements. The site sheds are located just off Belmore Lane, which is near the access points for the vehicles entering and exiting the site. In the months ahead, ground works are planned on site. Keep an eye out for excavation, piling, inground services installation and footing installation.

Site establishment commenced in early December 2017 including demolition of the existing building, basement floors and general cleaning and preparation for the main demolition works.

Main Demolition commenced mid-December 2017 with the demolition of the existing building and now, demolition of the ground floor slab.

As demolition progresses, barrier protection such as mesh fencing and scaffolding is being coordinated in order to maintain a safely secured site.

Dust control measures also consistently in operation.

Completion of demolition works is expected to be in March 2018.
